D&D 4E Since the announcement of D&D Next, are you still buying 4E product?

I buy most everything except adventures and tiles. That will continue.

I'm still having such a blast with 4e, I'm skeptical 5e will provide me with a game I like better. It might! But I'm happy there's still 4e stuff in the pipe.

I haven't bought a new product since Monster Vault, but I am subscribed to DDI.

Not sure where that falls on your list, so I choose still buying but picky option.

I'm buying the same stuff I was before, which is DDI, miniatures, and maps/tiles.

I'm still paying for DDI, but only because of Character Builder and Compendium. Dragon and Dungeon are not worth much; Dungeon is basically dead.

I stopped buying regularly when the character builder went online, but I've given up entirely since the 5th Ed rumors turned into announcements.

At the moment, I'm running a heavily slimmified 4th ed game.

Actually,l I stopped buying about November of 2010, mainly because the DDI features were over about three months changed to the point of unusability for me. It was about six months after that when we paused our Dark Sun 4E game because of group time constraints, and I haven't had a reason to buy 4E material since. Shadowfell, Feywild, Gardmore Abbey -- none of it grabbed me. I considered the Mordenkainen book, but since I wasn't in an active 4E game any more, I couldn't justify it to myself.

I havent bought anything 4e and dropped my DDI sub after HotFK came out. Saying that, I've still acquired everything thats been released since then(DM Swag is sweet). Since essentials, the quality of the content has been garbage and not worth spending money on. That being said, the 10-15% of any release that has been useful might make one books worth of content and I'll probably find a way to acquire whatever comes out before 5e.

I have been buying everything (which is certainly more than I need!) - although the page count in the Players Option books and most recent releases are not as big as before, I find the quality of the content to be absolute top notch! They are really stretching what 4e can do, and its been a real boon to me and my group. Im finding that there is so much I want to do with 4e, but so little time! Its interesting to see how this has been going though, I also collect all the mainline Pathfinder books, and have found that the last few were really kinda mediocre to downright crappy. Dont get me wrong, I also really like PF, but just have'nt been too big on the last couple books (although I have high hopes for the Advanced Races book, and cant wait to check out the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary release as I never had the chance to run/play it before). Whereas I think 4e has been having some of thier best books put out in the last year or so. I know this is not the popular opinion, but Im just finding myself more and more impressed with each 4e release. Its too bad about edition wars, because I think there are alot of people out there who dont know what they are missing.

Just picked up Heroes of the Elemental Chaos the other day and was once again really impressed with what they've done. The next one that Im really anticipating is the Undermountain adventure.

My option wasn't on the poll- I'm still buying 4Ed stuff on a product-by-product basis, same as before. I have plans to buy HoEC, but not much else has gotten my attention.
This is my position also - no change in buying practices. But because I buy a reasonable amount of stuff - all the "Heroes of . . .", for instance - I chose the first poll option as "near enough".

I buy all the core rule books and player options type books: PHBs, DMGs, 'Powers' books, and 'Heroes of' books. After that, I've been a bit more choosy: the first Adventurer's Vault, MM 1-3 (but not the Dark Sun, MV, or Nentir Vale books), Manual of the Planes, most of the campaign settings, RC, Mordenkainen's Magnificent Emporium.
Some random advice from a stranger on the internet - the MV and MV2:Nentir's Vale are both worth getting. So are The Plane Above and Demonomicon, but they're probably a bit more specialised.

MM 1-3 (but not the Dark Sun, MV, or Nentir Vale books), Manual of the Planes, most of the campaign settings, RC, Mordenkainen's Magnificent Emporium.

You're missing out on the three best monster manuals. MV is a re-written and markedly improved MM1 (it's probably worth it for the dragons alone). Dark Sun Monster Manual has a lot of interesting monsters and quite a few premade NPCs. And MV: Nentir Vale is about groups and factions and has teams of themed monsters that work really well.
