Sinister Spire (Group 2)(Orsal Judging)

Eanos, human monk

Eanos shrugs at the suggestion and nods his willingness to continue around the perimeter for now. Given his speed, he chooses to play rear guard for the party, knowing he's best equipped to get to the front quickly if need be.

Michael peers into the courtyard cautiously for a moment, curious to hear or see if there's the kobold equivalent of a call to battle stations going on.
He doesn't listen very hard: he figures if you can't hear an alarm easily, there's no alarm.
Assuming he doesn't see anything interesting, he leads the party around the rest of the ruins, stopping to check his back trail periodically.

Pendrake looks to michael then nods toward the opening with a quizzical look on his face.
[sblock=ooc]do I need to do bluff/sense motive to impart silent jestures? another dm i played with required it. that is why i ask.[/sblock]

Michael shrugs and unlimbers his weapons.
"Well, so much for the virtues of prudence. At least we can say we tried."
Then he leads the way into the courtyard, keeping close to the wall, and moving clockwise.
Along the way he looks for kobold tracks.

The courtyard, as noted earlier, seems empty, just a big space filled with random rocks and surrounded by a wall of rubble.
[sblock=everyone, DC 15 Spot check]By the wall, about 30' to the right of where you are, is a hole in the ground.[/sblock]

Pendrake will trust the eyes of his companions while the looks about the top of the walls for signs of movement or ambush.
