Sinister Spire (Group 2)(Orsal Judging)

"Worst case scenario," Semabin says as he retrieves his bow "these guys alert their tribe and we'll have to face them all." He ponders his words a bit, and sounds somewhat astonished as he concludes "Which does seem a better scenario than chasing a thief that's already caught, or ending up killing innocents because someone faked an abduction."

"Worst case scenario," Semabin says as he retrieves his bow "these guys alert their tribe and we'll have to face them all."

Pendrake nods sagely at these words....

Semabin ponders his words a bit, and sounds somewhat astonished as he concludes "Which does seem a better scenario than chasing a thief that's already caught, or ending up killing innocents because someone faked an abduction."

Suddenly a frown takes over Pendrake's countenance as confusion takes over. His brow furrows with pain then he shakes his head.

"I understand that not, nor understand do I of zees Kobolds. In Nordlands they are weak, one arrow, at most two. One sword blow from strong lad: Dead. Zees took much damage to fell. NO, Not usual Kobolds."

Michael shrugs.
"We don't have kobolds in the Big Sky. Just halflings."
He draws his kukri and starts checking the kobolds.
"But they're pretty tough for little guys. These kobolds may be the same."

Michael methodically turns out belt pouches, looking for anything...odd.

"Just saying that we can be relatively sure we're doing the right thing. Relatively. And I wouldn't know what's normal for kobolds. There aren't many small folk in Sairundan, and what I've seen here in the wetlands hasn't always helped my understanding."

Eanos, human monk

"Kolbolds, ... goplins, ... rats, ... All same. usually."

Eanos lets out the slightest of chuckles at the analogy, but says nothing. He waits for his companions to finish their searching, and meanwhile simply keeps an eye out for any more trouble.

Pendrake pauses in his searching and looks to Eanos chuckling, "Vat ist funny? all are dirty, all are stinky und all are disease pests. Ja?"

Eanos quickly regains his composure. "Apologies," he says. "It's a deft analogy, indeed," he adds, bowing slightly.

"HA! I joke on you! Ja?" the warrior walks over and slaps eanos on the sholder in a goodnatured way. "I understand. I just joke on you!" He then returns to his search of the kobold bodies, occasionaly chuckling and looking at Eanos..
