The kobolds have nothing of value, except coin -- altogether 27 GP, 14 SP, 12 CP. Their weapons (one with a heavy pick, the others just javelins and clubs) are quite ordinary, and their leather armour nothing spectacular. I'll assume you take the coins; are you interested in any of the other stuff?

After collecting whatever you have collected, you look around, and see nobody. The kobolds who fled, all went around to the other side of the rubble (the same direction from which they had come).

Eanos, human monk

((OOC: Eanos isn't interested in any of the weapons or armor. Can't speak for the others))

"If we're done here, I believe we were looking for a portal ... that way?" he says. Unfortunately, he's pointing in the direction the kobolds fled.

OOC: Pendrake has no intrest in the equipment either, just coin.

Pendrake looks to the direction eanos is pointing and says, "Ja, *shrug* I know no ozer vay eezer."

"Hold up a minute?" Michael suggests.
"This is a big castle: let's make sure we've seen all sides of it first before we jump in at the first tunnel.
Besides, we don't know how many weasels are in that burrow yet -- we don't want to stir up more than we can handle. Let's get a count on the number of kobolds in there and see how many other entrances there are first, then jump in."

You start around the rubble, and find a break in the wall which forms a sort of gateway into a large open courtyard. Do you continue around the perimeter, per Michael's suggestion, or go inside?

Pendrake points in the direction they are traveling, around the outside of the castle as per michael's suggestion, then nods quietly.
