Sinister Spire (Group 2)(Orsal Judging)

Eanos, human monk

Eanos presses his advantage with the injured fish man while keeping an eye out for attacks from the other in range.

[sblock=OOC]I can't get to IC, either. Seems to be unresponsive. I'll post the intent here, though, and if it's back up before I get back, feel free to roll for Eanos, or I'll update when I find IC working again:

Keeping F3 as the Dodge opponent, but attacking F1 with another flurry. +7 for both attacks (includes flanking bonus), damage 1d8+2[/sblock]

OOC: Knight: glad to hear all is going to be better then what was previoulsy thought!

Pendrakes attack:

[ugh]
1d20+9=12, 1d8+5=10
[/ugh]
as has been the usual, Pendrake is still under the effecs of having his spirits dampened by his environs!

Round 4

Semabin (21) continues to hack at f1, with some success.

f8 (18) still can't find Pendrake with his teeth. (Attack: 11)

Pendrake (16) still finds f5's scales impenetrable.

Eanos (16) scores one solid hit against f1. The creature falls, lifeless, back into the water with a splash.

f3 (16) bites Eanos: attack 22, damage 4 HP.

f6 (15) tries to bite Semabin but finds the warrior too well covered. (Attack: 13)

f2 (12) dives back into the water, realizing that he can't do anything from behind f3.

f1 (12)

f4 (11) bites Pendrake. Attack: 23. Critical confirmation: 10, no critical. Damage: 2 HP.

f5 (4) swings his staff, but swings it wide of Pendrake. (Attack: 7)

f7 (4) dives back in, for a similar reason to f2.

Back to the top of the order...
Code:

Eanos, human monk

"Pendrake, I think we made some room for you," Eanos calls down to his companion as the fishman falls dead. "Seems to be getting far more crowded where you are."

He then turns his attention to his other attacker, trying once again to sweep its feet out from under it.

[sblock=OOC]Let's try another trip attempt, though this doesn't look a lot better. Curse you, wretched strength check! :

Trip attempt F3, round 4 (touch attack, Str check, followup attack, damage) (1d20+6=22, 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=22, 1d8+2=8)[/sblock]

Semabin quickly nods to his companions as he turns back to f6 and attempts to slice it up.

(Just my luck, IC seems to be down again. Relevant rolls are 1d20+8, 1d6+1. Critical 18-20.)

Round 5

Semabin (21) attacks f6, but once again scaly skin wins. (Attack: 15)

f8 (18) manages this time to bite Pendrake. (Attack 16, critical confirmation 9 fails, damage 4 HP, Pendrake is down to 16.)

Pendrake (16) ...?

Eanos (16) once again finds his opponent too strong to be tripped. (Strength check: Eanos 13 vs. f6 17.) What's worse, the fishman manages to pull him down in the effort. (Strength checks for countertrip: f6 19 vs. Eanos 12.) Eanos is prone. Eanos can choose to stand up as a move action, completing his turn; it will provoke an AoO.

f3 (16)
f6 (15)
f2 (12)
f4 (11)
f5 (4)
f7 (4)

moving to bridge: would that be a full round action, or just a move with penalties and AOO?

either way, he will do it. If he gets a standard action he will fight defensively for this round with the readied action of attacking any fishdeamon that he can get to on the bridge ... te hell with what is in the water!
