Slaad-a-palooza!

There's nasty, there's Epic nasty, and then there's this. I'm not sure whether I would rather have to face one of the prismatic slaadi or an atropal. Right now, I think the atropal has the edge, but not by much. Not much at all.

Very cool.

That is very high praise. Thank you.

PS: That's in my sig now. I'm highly honored.

So, for my next character, I'm going to be able to play a half-slaad. Right? Right? Right?

These are all very nifty. I believe I've had the opportunity to face some of them, no? We kinda did grind them to pieces... but that was when the party was at full strength (read: way, way too overpowered), and before you threw the Deck at us.

Grind to pieces? I'd say the encounter with the coral slaadi was the best play-test money could buy. It was an ugly fight that used resources (not necessarily lives, but spells, hp, and oozy touches) and the party (7 people of average level 12-13) should have (and did) cream the two of them (CR 12).

Compilation?

I just came back to the forums after some time away. I had been looking for a new campaign idead and I think I just found it! Hands down the best thread of all time! Any chance I could get a compilation so I can let the creative hounds loose?

Oh, I'm working on The (Rather Small) Book of Slaadi right now. It's a compilation of these slaadi, in addition to Prcs, feats, domains and other stuff to round it out.

Now that there's some interest in it, I'll stop procrastinating and actually finish it.

I don't think there's a statute of limitations on dibs yet, Cheiromancer.

But, in other news, the compilation is finished. I'm sure that all (maybe one or two) of you are excited to know that the (rather small) Book of Slaadi is finished. And here it is:

I'd rather appreciate feedback from everybody who likes it, hates it, wants to pay me money for publishing rights to it, and so on. ;)
