Opale have been listening, playing with Naga in her hands. "Fine." she replies to Farid. She puts the snake around her neck and follow the others.

You get on your way southward, still looking out for a potential kobold attack, which apparently doesn't happen. After some time, you rejoin with the rest of the group (who will be returning to this thread).

OOC: Assuming we are away from prying eyes, i.e. out in the wilderness:

"Hi everybody! What going on in town?" Not waiting for a response, "We saw a bunch of kobolds, 20 or 30 or more! And there were people with them. They didn't have weapons, but they looked like they were helping, not prisoners. But they might have been prisioners and just really used to it by now. But maybe not. And there was one human with eyes that were all black. Rika said that means he is a dragon. I don't know if he is or not, but he might be. We followed the tracks and one of the sets of tracks sure looked like a dragon." Planus takes a breath ...

The Dwarf Veras-Re is content with Planus' concise explanation. He waits for the other group's own report, although he feels that they don't have to follow the Elf's example.

All the while, he takes a silent headcount, making sure that no one is missing from the group.

"The villagers are hostage of Eskaron, the dragon. The kobold see the dragon as there rigthful leader. The kobolds have build some underground tunnel under almost every building of the town to spy them. The villagers doesn't like much the situation, but they don't like the idea of adventurer in the city either, so we can't count on them. Jeline, the mother of the young girl have been warned." replies Opale, to resume there finds.

Quarion eyes Planus with an elven disdain. This one acts the fool, but is he a fool? He seems to know how to use a bow, and his wilderness skills he has shown us, but when he behaves like this... I have my doubts. The elf stand straight and speaks to the other group with an almost arrogant tone, "We did indeed discover a large group of kobolds. By our count there were sixteen kobolds and the one dark eyed human. The tracks we found may or may not have been made by a dragon, they were far from conclusive. And if it is as Planus says," Here Quarion looks pointedly at Planus, "And the dark eyed human was indeed the dragon, then I would reason that the tracks are not made by it. I propose we reunite and return to the trail we followed so that we may take action swiftly, with the element of surprise on our side and before they move again." If there are no objections, Quarion turns and heads back towards the trail and the place where the kobolds and company were spotted.

Nodding, Farid follows Quarion in agreement. "Maybe something exciting will happen, then."

Veras-Re agrees with Quarion.

True. Swift action must be taken, but a battle against superior numbers will not be won by surprise alone. A plan is needed. Even a simple one will spell the difference between success and failure.
