Slaves of the Dragon (orsal judging)

Veras-Re is ignores the Kobold's sword slash, but not the Kobold herself. Smiling viciously, he turns to the small reptilian and advances menacingly, lashing out with a two handed strike to her scaly snout.

even though the casting was disrupted, katherine will still shoot the caster. (things seem to be going well enough that an inspire courage can be saved.) She will shoot at the nearest kobald not in melee this round.

Even having more Kobolds running at him, Farid is relentless in his attacks. "Will you lizards never learn? Never anger a dwarf with an axe!" He slices the first kobold in twain, his urgosh not losing any momentum, and with a slight spinning motion, he stabs the next kobold with the other end of his weapon. "Today might not be your day either, Scales."

Jack Haggerty, Halfling Rog 1/Ftr 1, 12/12 hp, AC 19; Rover, 13/13 hp, AC 15

"Neener, neener," Jack taunts the pair of Kobolds, tossing off a rude gesture to boot. "You missed me."

Rover again lunges threateningly at the wounded kobold, failing to bite him as before, but driving him backward onto the point of Jack's needle-thin sword. The rapier plunges deep, piercing a surprising number of vital organs as it slides its way through the reptilian's anatomy.

Rover:
Flanking Bite attack vs. #3 = 9 (Another miss.)

Jack:
Flanking Rapier attack vs. #3 = 16
Rapier damage = 2
Sneak Attack damage = 6

(Sorry Kahuna Burger, don't know why I didn't include your actions last round. :\ Consider them done.)

Initiative:
Quarion - 22
Garma - 20
Farid –19
Jack – 12
Thanyvan – 12
Opale - 12
Rika - 11
Planus – 6
Katherine - 6
Veras-Re – 6-Adjusted
Kobold, 2 and 7 – 6
Kobolds, most – 2
Kobold, 14 – 1

Quarion's arrow strikes true at the caster, who finally drops, but Garma must still be furious about the wound, unable to drop his foe (11 damage total on 7).
Kobold 12 turns into a veritable fountain of blood, as Farid's urgosh decapacitates him and tosses the head in the direction of the supposed leader. His second strike batters 11, but he remains standing.
Jack manages to bring down kobold 3, who slides off his rapier, bleeding. Rover proves helpful, but not quite able to bite the kobolds. Must be their taste, or something.
Thanyvan gestures and mumbles, and a flame appears in his hand, which he tosses at 9. If it weren't in melee, he might have hit, but so, careful not to scorch Rika, he misses.
Opale's crossbow bolt hits 1, dealing 3 damage.
Kobold 9 stops as he practically runs into Rika's weapon, then drops, bleeding strongly.
Planus finds he cheered a little too soon, as it appears that his arrow didn't penetrate the scaly skin of the kobold. (Did I have a 13 as a hit somewhere? I don't think so...)
Katherine takes a few steps to the side, and pierces 1's skin (2 damage, 5 total).
Veras-Re squarely hits his opponent, but the snarling lizard remains standing.

The kobold 2 seeks to retaliate against Veras-Re, but her sword does not find flesh.
1 moves into a flanking position with 6 against Jack, but even so finds the halfling too well-armored to hit him. 6 fares no better. 11 is just as lost against Farid. 13, on the other hand, manages to put another scar on Garma (1 damage).
"Impressive display, vermin, but Grenton will suffer that much more for it." 14 growls, gestures, and a cone of fire springs forth from his hands, engulfing Farid, Rika, and the helpless kobold 9. All that remains of the kobold is a scorched husk. Farid (Reflex save 9) and Rika (Reflex save 7) are badly burned, taking 9 damage each. Seeing the result with some glee, the kobold turns and rushes away.

Veras-Re, Dwarf Egoist, AC 13, HP 11+3/11

Veras-Re is slightly surprised to see the Kobold standing after his vicious hit. He snaps out of it quick enough to dodge her sword slashes, parrying blows and leaving nicks on his walking stave.

These vermin are better trained and hardier than I had predicted. thinks the Psion.

A mistake I shall not suffer nor repeat. He growls as he renews his efforts to smash in the Kobolds' face.

OOG: Wow! Veras-Re is on fire! Though this explains why my Warforged Paladin on the WOTC boards is rolling nothing over 10...

Quarion Holimion, Elven Druid (AC:15, HP:7/7) Garma, Wolf Companion (AC:14, HP:11/13)

Seeing the damage 14 just caused his friends, Quarion immediately stops smiling. He calls out, "Garma! That one!" Garma disengages messily from his current opponent (provoking an AoO) and moves to attack and trip 14. The wolf's sharp canines sink into kobold flesh, but whether 14 goes down is unclear... Quarion takes aim and lets loose another arrow. He curses as his arrow flies harmlessly to the side.

Quarion: Shortbow atk. roll and damage (1d20+3=11, 1d6=1)
Garma: bite atk. roll, damage, and trip attempt (1d20+3=21, 1d6+1=5, 1d20+1=13)
