Katherine moves 30 ft towards the (presumed) cleric kobald while drawing her wand (shortbow still in other hand). "Rika!" she shouts, her trained voice cutting sharply through the fight, "Healing over here!"

(ooc: Katherine isn't a good enough shot with a bow to have much hope with the kobald in melee with the wolf. If Rika drops her rapier and draws her ranged weapon while moving over to meet katherine, she can shoot while katherine heals. Hope that doesn't sound too metagamy, but katherine did say she had a healing wand before the fight started, and she knows getting a fighter healed up will do more good than plinking at the best armored of the lot. Also, don't know how Farid is doing, but since he's still in melee, katherine wouldn't try to get him more hurt.)

damn only 2 hp healed for that amount of tactics....

Opale make a step north while she reload. Seeing the magician kobold running away, she think to attack him, but see Quarion have it weel, so aim for 13 who is alone now and the bolt hit the kobold in a non-vital part (Hit: 17, Damage: 2)

Jack Haggerty, Halfling Rog 1/Ftr 1, 12/12 hp, AC 19; Rover, 13/13 hp, AC 15

"Oh, come now," Jack continues jeering as he sidesteps his enemies' weapons, knowing full well that there's an even chance his opponents cannot understand a single word he says. "You buggers swing like a pack of... well... Hey!" He shouts over his shoulder to his companions, "Does anyone have any idea of what might be considered more pitifully inept than a kobold? I'm afraid I'm at a loss."

"Get 'em, boy," Jack commands with a nod toward the kobold standing before him. The great wolfhound circles the poor humanoid, as if he were a large, two-legged, scaley rabbit. The dog senses fear, and closes in swiftly with snarling and snapping jaws, fully intending to rip his prey to shreds.

Watching Rover gleefully savage one kobold, Jack whirls around to face his second (third?) challenger, and delicately - almost daintily, with an upraised pinky and a nearly apologetic grin - inserts his blade into an unprotected patch of flesh.

Rover:
Move to J2, then J3.
Flanking Rapier attack vs. #6 = 25 (Critical threat!)
Bite damage = 7
Trip check = 20

Critical confirmation: 6 (Not confirmed.)

Jack:
Rapier attack vs. #1 = 21
Rapier damage = 4

Rika, 1/10 hp

Rika grabs her shortbow as she moves over to meet Kathrine. When she gets there she drops her rapier and fires a shot at the kobold leader/mage. Her shot goes far wide.

Vermin? You're the one who got a bunch of minions slaughtered and then runs of because he's scared! I've met pixies tougher than you.

OOC: Is there any way to make a Bluff check or something to taunt the guy into sticking around?

Garma disconnects from his current opponent, who manages to bring another slice against the wolf (1 damage, crit not confirmed), and pursues the cleric, grabbing him in his jaws (hit, 5 damage), and tosses him to the ground "Damn flea-fur!". Quarion's shot, however, goes off into the green.
Farid sinks his urgrosh into kobold 11, who drops to the ground, and then limps a bit towards Katherine.
Rover, apparently inspired by his new canine friend, manages to kick down his opponent, who is japping something in kobold (
"I surrender!"
). Jack's opponent sneers as he hears the words her comrade utters, but that turns into shock over the sudden wound in her chest, and she drops to the ground as well.
Thanyvan adjusts a bit to shoot another bout of fire, this time at 2, but misses again.
Opale hits the kobold 13 in her arm, while Rika's shot sails harmlessly over 14. She moves to meet Katherine, the burning sensation relieved a bit by the magic wand.
Meanwhile, Planus performs another trick shot.
Veras-Re bashes against the kobold's face again. If it were human, he'd expect the face to sport a broken nose and a few missing teeth now - and he isn't dissappointed in the resulting kobold face as his victim drops.

"You want me to stay?" the suspected cleric asks.
"Fine. If you care so little about Grenton, I'll stay. Not that this yellow-toothed excuse of a wolf would let me get away." he laughs.
5 is still somewhere in the tangle, but otherwise all kobolds are taken care of, more or less, as 13 throws her weapon as far as possible into the opposite direction of you, and japs the same phrase that Rover's plaything does.

"Those two are surrendering" Katherine says absently as she heals Farid.

"Grenton this, Grenton that," She says as she aproaches the kobald. "We spend the night in a town then defend ourselves against attackers and that dooms the town? You aren't making a lot of sense, my dear."

Katherine will use as many charges of the wand are needed to bring everyone up to full (she suspects the day isn't over by a long shot). (ooc: if everyone wants to roll for healing, 1d8+1 and tell me how many charges you used, I'll mark them off.)

Quarion Holimion, Elven Druid (AC:15, HP:7/7) Garma, Wolf Companion (AC:14, HP:13/13)

Quarion spits. He says sharply in elven, "We regretted taking prisoners last time. Let us not make the same mistake again. Interrogate them, find out what we need, and then end their miserable lives." Quarion goes to Garma and leads him to Katherine for a healing.

Heal for Garma (1d8+1=7)

Planus keeps his bow drawn and an arrow knocked, ready to put an arrow in any kobolds acting out (or well beyond as his recent luck would have it). He moves over to Katherine for healing.
Looking at Quarion, he mutters,
Agreed
. He appears subdued for the first time since any of the others have met him. Probably has something to do with his shooting.
OOC: healing from Katherine (1d8+1=2)
Looks like it will take two charges for Planus, unless Katherine would rather he used a couple minor blessing from Mongrel. :(
