[Slightly OT] Too many beautiful women at GenCon!

The poor gamers...

UUUM...there were hot chicks at Gencon? Where? I'm probobly gonna get flamed for this, but I didn't see any hot chicks in the pics. Poor gamers. I think most gamers 99% have been devoid of women due to the hobbie/lifestyle that leads to the hobbie to the point of serious standard drop. The red head is skinny, but she looks freaky! And the chick with the yellow skin? Or the future punk girl? Come on guys. Chicks that game are cool, but hot? Gaming alone does not make one hot. I have yet to see a girl that gamed and didn't find some way to make my skin crawl. May'be its because I was an athlete before I was a gamer. The skinny "goth" chicks in high school came no where near the hot blond chear leader. And the one role playing chick that realy had a face fit for a model had to go and paint it white with black eye shadow and slap on a trench coat! May'be I'm just real shallow... Oh well, let the burning begin:rolleyes:

Well - to be honest, we usually qualify things - "gamer hot" may only be cute or so-so compared to normal. And, I'm sure there are similar things you can say about gaming guys.

Personally, I find the whole "geek-girl" thing uber hot...(ie: Lisa Loeb and those horned-rimmed... yumm!) the cheerleader type does nothing for me. So I do think the gamer-girl types can be red-hot :). Of course beauty is a purely personal thing and other then symmetry and health there seems to be almost no one definition.

I am sure it is a regional thing. School sports are not that big of a deal around here- and, so, chearleading is of less importance then in areas where school sports are still a popular activity.

I have always liked the cute geeky girls, but I have lusted after cheerleaders since as long as I can remember, and I graduated high school in 1985. The cheerleaders were not always the best looking, but something about the short skirts, athleticism, poms poms, the perky personalities, etc appealed to a quiet guy like me.

More things that go into details when it comes to clothing, goods, etc (find me a single magical dress in the DMG).

Well, sometimes you have to make your own. In my campaign a female character (male player) found a gown in female wizard's bedroom that radiated magic. Identify determined that it was a Gown of Disguise: Just like a hat of disguise but could only do female clothing. It can be a rich ballgown or a simple housefrock and anything in between, the only limitation is that it must be feminine in appearance.

I'm still trying to finesse a situation where one of the male dwarves has to borrow the gown for some reason. :)

well, i guess it's just a matter of "to each his own". ;)
see, there's hot as in "unapproachable supermodel" and then there's hot as in "this girl will actually not run away if i talk to her", and i think most of the people posting here are using that second qualifier in making their comments. :)
