Lord Pendragon

All in all I liked this episode. From last week's promo I was afraid my suspension of disbelief would be destroyed yet again by having the show claim there were fat people at Smallville High, (remember the episode with the fat girl who gets thinner? And Clark saying "I bet a lot of girls wish they knew her secret" in spite of there being not a single overweight person on camera at the school...ever?) Luckily, no such farce. Though what we did get was another Kryptonite-Villain-of-the-Week. Weren't we going to stop those?
My hopes that Chloe is this version of Superman's "Lois Lane" (she did use Lois' name to submit her last articles to the Daily Planet, after all,) are slowly sinking into resigned acceptance that Chloe is destined not to hook up with Clark. Lois joining the newspaper and getting fan letters seems to indicate that she is indeed the future Lois that Clark falls for.
I'm starting to warm to Lois, though. She's not as hot as Kristin Kreuk or Allison Mack, but there is a lot of chemistry between Lois and Clark. Far more than there ever was with Lana. And everyone but Clark can see it...
