Crothian said:Oh, I think it was a jump.
Jamdin said:Now that he has his powers back maybe he will do more power leaps that will eventually lead up to his learning to fly.
Ambrus said:I likewise believe that Clark just lept up to reach the missile. Although they didn't dwell on it for very long I believe that it was meant to be Clark discovering one more of his powers which they haven't shown him doing for a while now. I mean, originally Superman didn't fly at all, he just "leaps over tall buildings in a single bound". It was only later that he was attributed with the power of flight. I expect him to now add that his ever growing repertoire of tricks. We'll probably see a good deal more of it from now on this season.
Darthjaye said:Now who's to say that "Jor-El" is really Jor-El? Could the appearance of the followers of Zod and Brainiac mean something more sinister is afoot with our dear Lionel's possesion? Just a thought............
Barely. There were gashes in the the cloth. From what I remember about Superman, his powers of invulnerability extend to what he is wearing and maybe about an inch around him as well.Xath said:Not only did he survive a fall from space, but more amazingly, his clothes survived!!! I was amazed.
I agree, it is just wrong. So much of what we know is derived from earlier works and the fact that aour solar system has a yellow sun is the reason why he has his powers. A friend of mine debated a long time ago, that if a regular human being made it to Krypton, they would be endowed with the same powers. I don't know about that, but eh.Morrus said:I'm not keen on the power-transferral thing. Clark has his powers because he's an alien. But his powers seem to be able to be taken away, given back, given to other people, etc. all with the wave of a hand. It's almost as though his powers were magical in origin, and controlled by Jor El.
