Smallville and Angel Premiere

I think Clark's actions, including
putting the ring back on repeatedly
, make perfect sense. Perhaps none of you who don't see it have gone through a "dark" phase where you're self-destructive and destructive, but a pattern of having guilt pull you part of the way out
-- in this case made physical by the pull of his father ----
and
then dropping yourself back in, willingly and almost with a sense of relief,
is quite natural, especially when you're young and feel betrayed by the universe.

I couldn't get over how pathetic Lana and Chloe are. I don't remember high school girls being so cute and whiney all at the same time. Of course, at my high school way back when, none of the students were in their 20s. :D

And Lex on the island. Three months. No weight loss, and his crash-inflicted boo-boos and crust of dirt stay fresh. :p

Quick Smallville question. Is the actress that is playing Lex's wife different from the one last season? She just didn't look the same to me at all.

WHY are these two shows together in one thread?

I love Smallville, but would prefer to have my nails pulled out by a wrench then have to watch Angel.

Lana's always been pathetic. Chloe's been suffering as a result of proximity to her. Now that she's in cahoots with Lionel, though, things are looking up. :D

No tan, either. I suppose we as fans are supposed to deduce that this is because of the "meteor rocks" 500 spf.

personally Chloe's always seemed the pathetic one to me. i mean how many times does she have to say "they love each other" for her to actually get it. she says that one minute and then whines that Clarke doesn't love her the next.

Lana OTOH, is more annoying than anything else. i've just gotten realy tired of the "Clarke, you're just being jealous" followed by the "you were right all along" scenes.
