I always thought something like that would be really fun to stick in during the last few episodes. This glowing bubble materializes in a corn field and three teens get out, two guys and a girl; they're here from the 31st Century to do a project on the beginning of the Age of Heroes, and get all inspired by seeing Clark in action

As a sidenote, Superman #656 came out last week. A flashback scene showed Clark in his post-Smallville, pre-Metropolis days. The artist, Carlos Pacheco, did a great job making Clark look like Tom Welling (with glasses).
