I don't get the WB in my town, so I've just started watching smallville. So far, I've seen the first few episodes and I'm really enjoying it. Not sure how closely it follows any of the comic books (all I know of supes is from his various movie and tv show appearances). I'm really enjoying the take on Clark and Lex as friends! It makes the outcome of superman and evil genius all the more tragic and powerful.
Anyways, that's not the purpose of this thread... because I think I'm about 6 years to late to start up a "smallvill rocks" thread
No, this thread is about how ABC family is handling the show. They had a marathon on Saturday (it showcased the first three episodes and a bunch of pivotal episodes where Clark learns of his superpowers), then they launched the series on Monday replaying the first episode and moving chronologically. WELL, four of the episodes they played in the marathon and the episodes they played during the week were not edited the same! They cut out different scenes and added in others... now, I don't know which one aired on the WB, but I'm curious of two things:
1) WHY would a company edit the same episode two different ways?
2) Has anybody watched both channles' versions and know if anymore is being editted out?
I find it just plain odd. :\
It also makes me think what is on the DVDs? Anymore deleted scenes?
