Woke up this morning go to the car to get to work and it's buried under snow. Ah, nothing like making a 40 minute trip take 60 minutes are people forget how to drive. Curse you snow that sticks!

Yeah, that was my impression as well. Today is the worst day of the year for me. I live by Ohare Airport and work on the University of Chicago campus (opposite ends of the city, for you non-chicagoians). Usually 45 min drive with normal traffic. But with today being the busiest travel day of the year and throw in a little snow, it's horrible. One year it took me 2.5 hours to get home.

But the snow was cool. My 2-year old son just last week got out of his cast (he broke his leg playing with the dog) and is learning to walk again. Watching him stomp around in the snow was a memory I wouldn't trade for anything.

Ya but just drive 60 miles west from downtown Chicago (see spot on map called DeKalb), and there is basicaly no snow. We were kinda hopeing for some. Oh well maby next time.
