I don't know if I'd compare the 2. So far all of the Druids I've seen are all melee based Druids who mostly just give their allies combat advantage and push enemies around 1 square. Which is nothing like all the Wizards who are doing AoE at range.Druid vs wizard?
Bards are worse healers than Clerics. They are about the same as Warlords. They don't buff as well as Warlords. It's kind of a wash. They are good at things that Clerics and Warlords don't do and aren't especially good at the things that Warlords and Clerics do well. I wouldn't really give the advantage to any of the classes.Bard vs cleric (or warlord)?
Wardens have a lot of hitpoints. They take a beating like no other class. Better than even Fighters and Paladins. They can stand in the middle of a large group of enemies and hit them all, over and over again. It's pretty impressive, but their damage output is fairly low when compared to a good Fighter. They have no healing or leadership ability like Paladins have, though.Warden vs fighter (or paladin)?
Could someone please explain to me how the Swordmage is broken?
Thanks![]()
Honestly, I don't think so. There's plenty of ways to cheese out the save penalty already in the AV if you want to, and Wizards don't get that much out of Wisdom besides that. I think the versatility of having three at-wills as a controller keeps Humans in the top spot.I was curious as to whether the +2 int, +2 wis deva race is now the goto race for the orb wizard.
A tricked out fighter with multiclass warlord is virtually unstoppable. At least in the Scales of War campaign I play in.
Massive AC and defenses. Can heal himself all day long. Chips away at the opponents until they drop.
The best offense is a good defense.
That's pretty much been my experience. Swordmage = overpowered compared to other classes.
