I bought my first D&D boxed set (a small white OD&D boxed set) in 1979 or 1980. However I was unable to play since my English was poor at that time, and the rules were terrible, almost incomprehensible (people should read the PDF of the OD&D game, if they can find them). Then, four years later I did find a group of players, and we played basic D&D, soon followed by AD&D 1e. Nowadays I have not much opportunities to play because of real life, but I still occasionally buy books, and regularly come here to discuss about the game.The Hound said:Do we have any real old timers around who've been playing since the very beginning?
