So I Made My Own PHB2

As the title says. With the various posts and stuff about the 5E release schedule I thought I would post this. Basically I made my own PHB out of stuff I do not mind my players using. I chery picked the stuff I liked or could tolerate.

I would say almost every game one of the players is using something from this book.

So first things 1st. I printed a heap of stuff from various sources. I wanted a nice cover and I liked this one.

Full colour, spiral binding.

Since I do not have a contents page as such use covers as chapters.

These 2 PDFs contain a heap of new races for 5E. Most of them are on par with the PHB in terms of power and a few have got some interesting things going on that I would want to play them. WotC have not done a large PC yet for example. Here is a Centaur. SOme of the Dragonkin also look fun.

More archetypes might be nice to have. From the DMGuild.

A new class once again from the DMGuild. I also have the Gunslinger class and 7 new classes from EN5ider. That is 10 new classes.

New cleric domains courtesy of EN5ider.

3 New Druid circles once again from EN5ider. That is one of the better EN5ider articles IMHO.

More domains this time elemental ones for clerics.

And another new class the Noble. More or less a 5E warlord with a lazylord option.

And a tempest Ranger. This one makes dex based TWF melee kind of viable/fun. And a nightstalker ranger.

So yeah that is my PHB2 I use in 5E. I'm not sure how many pages are in it probably over 100 and there are a lot of new archetypes in their for the various classes and 3 new ones. This is more or less 100% player options as well with races, backgrounds, spells and feats also included. Druid.cleric and the Tempest Rangers have gone down well and there is a Theologian wizard who can pick up cleric spells.

I'm far too lazy to actual print and bind things, but some good choices overall for inclusion. I feel like getting people invested enough in 3rd party products to do projects like this might be the community response they're trying to create.

That's not a PHB2!! It's not officially published WotC material!! How dare you pass off this heretical 3PP drivel as a PHB2!! My eyes!! My EYES!!

(BTW, nice job. I have my own comb binder so I make things like this all the time out of my PDF material.)

One thing's for certain. You're certainly playing D&D "right". :)

You're giving me flashbacks of when I did something similar in the 80s with Dragon magazine splat options. Only then it was literally tear the pages out, put hole punches in them, and put them in a binder. None of this fancy "printer options" back then :P

*Edit* FWIW, I have a ton of respect for someone willing to put forth an effort to address any shortcomings they feel are in the game rather than complain and do nothing about it. So mad props to you sir.

You can do that these days with Dragon/Dungeon as well.

Not enough material? If you only play AL maybe.

This thread has been getting mad xp votes but not much discussion. Shrugs.
What discussion were you expecting there to be?

Your original post doesn't include any questions for the rest of us to provide answers on, and doesn't really call for any comments beyond the "Cool." sort that you've gotten (which each XP also represents a similar sort of reply).
