So what are people doing with d20 Future?

So kind of campaigns are people running with this book? Star Frontiers? Alternity? Mechs? Cyberpunk? Battlestar Galactica?

I'm thinking of trying to do a Star Frontiers campaign with it sometime. I wish WotC woudl release the old Star Frontier ESDs so I could mine them for info on the setting.

I'm running a campaign influenced by several of my favorite Sci-Fi video games, and Star Frontiers.
I'm using the type of trade found in Starflight II, with Kilrathi elements thrown in from Wing Commander.
This past weekend, the PCs encountered a Predator and with some VERY good dice rolls, defeated it, soundly, and brought it back stripped and alive, prompting an offer from the Interstel Law force to have them hired on for certain individual jobs until they can go through formal Star Law training (I need to work up some good training rules, or maybe make it some sort of adventure module, or some such....).

How easy (or hard) are people finding to actually create the kind of game world and adventures that they want? That was one of the things that I was concerned about - trying to stuff what I was interested in doing into the d20 system.

If anyone has any experience with running anything with Future, I would love to hear about it.

It's actually incredibly simple. Just .... go with it.
I don't know how to explain it without going into a long and disputable diatribe about the basics of GMing... Just use whatever GMing techniques you use, and make it fun. :)

Not quite sure what you mean by ESDs (I'm probably just being dense), but you can find all kinds of SF material (including all of the rule books) at http://www.starfrontiers.com/ .

We're running a shared-world campaign in the style of Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, and the Jetsons. It's called Space! and we're theoretically going to be providing scenarios to anyone who wants to game in our setting. We've got a little ways to go yet, but the tables at GenCon were a big success.

Right now, I'm running a sort of a combination of Star*Drive, Star Law and some of my own ideas. In the future, I hope to run a Fallout campaign.

I'm seriously considering converting the amazing Star Control 2 aliens and spacecraft. It would be quite a project, but what an amazingly rich universe to adventure in.

Sadly, nothing yet. However, I hope eventually to play or DM in the setting Warlord Ralts has been working up (link in sig). I also hope to play in Darwin's World II which is D20Modern-based and might be enhanced with some of the stuff in D20Future.
