What Property Do You Still Want to See Get a TTRPG Adaptation

On a similar theme, has anyone run an isekai game? Where the players create their fantasy (or whatever) characters, and then in the narrative they play themselves, sucked into the fantasy world of the game, trnasformed into their characters. And they have to figure it all out?
Done it, didn't have fun running it. the game was the English version of the French RPG Trauma. Char gen was, however, rather amusing.
Not that I'm pining for one, but as far as I know there's never been one, but I'm pretty surprised The Legend of Zelda never got a TTRPG. A Metroid TTRPG would be a cool sci-fi game too.
There are almost a dozen clearly TLOZ inspired fan and indie games. I've got 6 on my HD at the moment:
  1. 5E Zelda
  2. Dangerous to Go Alone
  3. ForgottenBallad-digital.pdf
    1. ForgottenBallad-Pamphlet-A4_colors.pdf
  4. Heroes of Hyrule v0.3.1.pdf
  5. Legend of Zelda RPG beta3.pdf
  6. Paths of Hyrule
Not counting the one that was based on D&D 4e nor the one based upon PF1e... nor the Fate 2.0 one lost on a dead hard drive years ago.

Never seen much point to that question. Plenty of great games that aren't licensed, many of them IMO better than I suspect we would have gotten from the IP holder.
I mean, I guess I should have been more explicit, but the implication of the thread is an officially licensed adaptation.

Fair enough. I just want to be on the record as believing a licensed isn't a prerequisite for making a good game based on an IP, just for selling one.

Mass Effect would be the obvious choice for me.

It's kind of bizarre that it doesn't have a TTRPG already, despite a lot of fan attempts.
in development.

I am actually surprised it never happened, given Diesel's gaming interests.
I'm not. He's only ever talked about D&D.
Still, I'd love to see him sit down with a design team and reveal the rest of the universe of PB/Riddick before he fails a stunt...

Sometimes, even the license isn't needed to sell it.

Starships & Spacemen 1e was clearly Star Trek TOS derived. It got dialed back when FGU couldn't afford the license.

There's a clear port of Firefly to Cinematic Unisystem in Eden Studios Presents vol. 1... requires a Cinematic Unisystem game to serve as core (Buffy:The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Army of Darkness, or Ghosts of Albion)... If one prefers full unisystem, there's a sidebar.
Spacefarers and Prairie Folk: A Cinematic Setting by Andrew Peregrine
I'll note that it would also serve as well for Cowboy Bebop. But there an illo of a firefly Mk 4 about 5 pages in...

And, of course, Bounty Head Bebop has been a very openly adapted from Cowboy Bebop for over a decade... still up on DTRPG... alongside the official Bebop adaptation from a couple years ago.
