MAD MAX... that's the only one I'd be interested in picking up at this point (and yes, I know, you can easily do post-apocalyptic sci-fi with existing systems).
A James Bond Spy Action RPG would be fun. They could do setting books for the 1960s, 1970s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. Let the group choose their preferred era of play. Modiphius could do that with their 2d20 system.
The license must cost a fortune.
Galaxy Quest (and, no, I don't want to just use Star Trek).
Invisible Sun is kind of like this in reverse. The real world is the illusion, and their actual selves are the PCs in the bizarre dreamlike location of Satyrine. Players not showing up to play are said to be their characters getting pulled back into the illusionary real world. On a similar theme, has anyone run an isekai game? Where the players create their fantasy (or whatever) characters, and then in the narrative they play themselves, sucked into the fantasy world of the game, trnasformed into their characters. And they have to figure it all out?
I am actually surprised it never happened, given Diesel's gaming interests.Pitch Black/Riddick
