So what is your favorite Dungeon adventure, ever?

In the spirit of the module discussion, I would like to open a thread dedicated to what I believe is the single best gaming resource across all editions of the game, that being Dungeon magazine. So, I was wondering, what is the best adventure published in Dungeon ever (as a way to make edition warz peace here on En World, I think I will open it up to include the pre-Dungeon adventures published in Dragon for anyone so inclined).

I love 3e, and I think the magazine under Mona and Jacobs is the best it has ever been. However, my choice for best adventure ever is actually a BECMI D&D adventure from Issue 13 called "Of Nests and Nations..." This adventure is simply put, ubercool and should serve as a template for any mystery or event driven adventure. It has interesting villains, plenty of roleplaying, and lots of mystery. If Dungeon ever puts out a compendium of its best adventures ever published updated for 3.5, I hope this adventure is updated.

A lot of what I judge how good an adventure is, from any source, is by how much it becomes a "fixture" in my campaigns. So for me, from Dungeon mag, would be Apple Grove, which I believe is "A Stew for Llewellyn", the "Red/Skarlett Knight" adventure, and the one with the self willed Skeletel Warrior in it. The cover has him with a "Black Rose", which I think is part of the adventures mod. He, the Warrior, is what went on to be one of my campaign fixtures. I believe his name is Agrovale.

Oh, and the "Return of Flame". I use Flame and the floating Diamond Fortress pretty frequently. Independently of each other.

I can count the number of issues of Dungeon I've purchased on the fingers of one hand, so I'm not the best person to weigh in on this, but I really liked the Maure Castle installments.

"Tears for Twilight Hollow" issue 90 is my favorite D&D module.

The Emperor's Treasure in Dragon#51 is my favorite game (not a module, but an expand and conquer game).

As I said in the other thread, "Chimes at Midnight" is my favorite Dungeon adventure. I'm glad to hear that there will eventually be a sequel.

5 come to mind- the one with Ebonbane for Ravenloft, the one with utahraptors, the evil gnome with zombie slaves and skeleton bird bombs and the Masque of the Red Death based on Frankenstein. The 5th is in one of the Dragon annuals (which did carry Dungeon adventures) for Dark*Matter and has byou (sp) people.
