So whos running games at GenCon?

I'm running Star Thugs.

I am also contemplating running a game of Giant Monster Rampage where it is The Japanese Kaiju (a collection of toys I have)...

  • Overlordicus Rex: King of the Fire Realm
  • Satano the Demon Turtle
  • Adversario: Enemy of ALL
  • Kronos, Monkey King of Zombie Island
  • Mechagodzilla (you know him)

versus...

The Lords of Heavy Metal (another collection of toys I have)

  • Lemmy Kilminster from Motorhead
  • Axl Rose from Guns n' Roses
  • Kerry King from Slayer
  • Ozzy Osbourne from Black Sabbath
  • Angus Young from AC/DC
  • Alice Cooper (Solo Artist)

I'm not sure if this one is a "GO" yet, but we'll see.

'To say nothing of fiends requesting gifts...' : a 3e Planescape game involving greedy fiends, Sigil's past history, and its own little underdark of the Great Below / UnderSigil.

I originally ran a varient of this game at an Enworld NC gameday a year or so ago and it was fun, so I'll be running it twice at GenCon. It'll be interesting running for completely random people. Usually I'll know people before hand or have at least talked to them once or twice irl, IM, or email etc.

That is just so wrong... but sounds like great fun! :)

I'm not intending on running anything under the official auspices of GenCon. But I certainly hope to run some games for my fellow ENWorlders, both those I'm travelling with and those I meet there.

I'll probably run a session of Orcz and Sky Galleons of Mars, both of which I've had good success with at the NC Game Days. Although both of these are d20 (D&D and Modern) respectively so hopefully that won't hurt my chances of recruiting players because there seems to be a concensus that most folks prefer to play the sorts of games they don't usually play at home. I hope this applies to the theme of the game as well as the system.

I'll have an old school moldvay/cook basic/expert game ready to run, with a funny twist. This is a pickup game, not a scheduled event.
