He has actually been in hot water with his lenders over the devaluation of Twitter and destroying the ad revenue since he took over. Being tens of billions underwater on a loan is no joke, even if he has a lot of paper value.
He's the richest man on the planet. I get you don't like him, I am not a big fan either, but you're projecting wishful thinking here. He's not in trouble financially. He's the least in trouble financially of anyone anywhere.

I'm sure he will be fine, certainly. But I doubt he will want to crash his portfolio by selling $10 billion in shares, or thst he will find eager investors for a large company thst is in debt.

You don't have to be in financial trouble to make a financial transaction implausible suboptimal.

Eh, it's another person mouthing off. The chance of drama that would affect us is on the verge of nil.

Buying Hasbro in its sad shape would be more likely to see it shutter than change. Even if that stopped new product, it's still under CC, and with the dozens of off-shoots these days it'd still be around in one form or another.

I'd be more likely to miss GI Joe/Transformer reissues - but there's always The Corps and Diaclone, I guess.

Even if it came to pass (some rich guy buying WotC only to shut it down), it wouldn't really impair me. The creative minds would still be there. Sure, they might publish things I like at Paizo instead of WotC, but... honestly I don't care about the publisher brand, I care about the content.
I don't think the aim would be to shut it down. He'd probably try to 'de-woekify' it. (as in change the content so that it goes back to being horrifically sexist, racist, and anti LGBT).

That's exactly what he's done to Xitter.

I would like for him to hold off until the new rules are CC.

I think a better phrasing would be that he's not in unsolvable trouble financially. As previously mentioned, he borrowed a bunch of money in order to buy Twitter, securing those loans with (among other things) Tesla stock. The value of Twitter has tanked since he bought it, and many of those lenders have been side-eyeing him over that. He's kept up with payments so far, but he's juggling a lot of obligations right now, and should he stumble that could set off a lot of dominoes (I never mixed a metaphor I didn't like).
