It's one thing to have an opinion, it's another to have the social skill to voice it in the correct context.

Sometimes I just love you, Colonel.

Perhaps if you stopped insulting people with opinions different from your own you would get more stimulating discussion going on in these forums instead of the usual bland banal posts we commonly see.

Actually, the dear Colonel's and my initial responses to you were far from insulting -- they were merely factual.

If you really feel that this community treats people like you so badly, there is always the "log out" button at the bottom-right portion of the screen at the forum index.

I've already suggested that, I hope he does it...

Actually, let's not try to run bones_mccoy off. He is correct that it is good to have differing opinions, of which there are many at EN World. What I objected to was the condescending and combative attitude with which he first began posting, as well as the specific thread he chose to post in. A new thread about the subject would be in order if he wishes to continue debating the merits of one edition's artwork versus another.

Todd - if you're still here - sorry for the thread hijack. Perhaps you could tell us something about the philosophy behind D&D 3rd edition's artwork, and what you would like to have done if given free rein?

That, plus bones and I have spoken about this, and we have come to an understanding. All is kosher. All is peace. All is love. :)

I now relinquish my boorish hoggin' of the thread. I'm just glad to know someone with the "street creds" such as Todd is now available for freelance!
