Sorcerer Revision

First Post
I'm playing with an idea for a new campaign. Making some modifications to the Sorcerer class:

D6. I've done this since 3.0 came out.
Free Eschew Material Components feat. I think it plays well into the idea that a Sorcerer *is* magic, rather than one that has studied magic.
A free Minor Bloodline. Something to give the class a small boost and a definite link to whatever is the source of the Sorcerer's power.

How does that sound?

Well, it's a slight boost to the Sorcerer, and it is somewhat thematic (the PHB merely says that some Sorcerers claim to have draconic heritage - stuff that came after latched onto that phrase like a leech, to the point of assuming that all Sorcerers get their power from inherited racial abilities) but it's really not needed.

See, while a Sorcerer is the least of the Core Full Casters, the Core Full Casters are already well ahead of the Core Non-casters or Core partial-casters. Boosting everyone to the level of the top (Wizard, generally, possibly Druid or Cleric, depending on what level you're looking at) doesn't generally annoy people the same way that weakening the top power classes does, and it's good in theory, but if you're doing that, you'll need to boost the Core non-casters and half-casters too (I suggest the Tome of Battle classes for that) as well.

Go right ahead, it's probably fine. More up-front benefits than I generally give sorcerers, but overall it's probably about on-par with what I do.
