South Park 200 (Warning! Spoilers!)

Quantum

First Post
SPOILERS!

Every celebrity that South Park has ever lampooned sues the town.

My favorite scene is the entire opening scene:

The episode begins with the kids taking a tour of a candy packing plant. Stan comes across Tom Cruise who is putting the fudge candy in cardboard boxes. So Stan quips:

"Hey, I see you're a fudge packer*".

So Tom gets upset and sues South Park. He enlists the aid of every celebrity there is.

BUT.....

As it turns out the meta plot is to kidnap Mohammed so they can steal his goo so that they can be completely immune to being criticised or teeased or made fun of in every way. Because, you cannot show any body part or any part of skin of the Prophet because the Muslims will bomb the heck out of you. God is not one to be mocked, in other words.

And it seems to be a two parter.

Subplot: they may actually reveal who Cartman's father is in Part Two.

I consider this one of South Park's better episodes. I give it a "B". I especially appreciate the fact that they keep out the gross and vulgar humor that the series has a n penchant for. Although they really don't like BArbara Streisand now, do they?

*For those who don't understand the joke, the phrase "fudge packer" is another term for being a homosexual. This is nod to the Scientology Episode in which Tom Cruise refuses to come out of the closet. The real actor got really upset at this episode and tried to get them in trouble over it because they were calling him gay. You can see the episode at South Park Studios, completely uncersored as well. Here's the Wiki on that episode:

I would give it a B too. I might give it an A, except that I do not think there will be a second part. I think they left us hanging because they can and think it is funnier that way.

Did you notice the shoulder insignia on Mecha Striesand? (however you spell her name).

I was wrong, it had a second part. I did not watch it, I was busy with school, but just read the news about Comedy Central deciding to censor the episode.
