Special Conversion Thread: Aboleths

All the other aboleths just have 4 right? I would agree that 4 seems more "normal" for an aboleth.

CL/ML 25 to 30 somewhere? Near projected CR.

Updated.

Beyond 20th level, sorcerers gain no additional spells/day or spells known.

Psions gain no additional power points, but each time the psion attains a new level, it learns two new powers of any level or levels that he can manifest.

So, we need to add 20 more powers of any level to the list for the psionic variant.

Bummer to be an epic sorcerer. Maybe we should use some of the feats to get more slots and/or spells known for the nonpsionic version.

I'll have to come back to the powers later.

Here's a thought...since he's so special, should we allow him to select his powers from more than one discipline? That would open up a few more options for the additional 20 powers.

If so, should we allow him to select from any of the six disciplines, or just add one or two? I kinda like him being the master of all psionic disciplines.

Oooh, I like that idea. Give him a special quality so that he can select from any school. I sense that you have some suggestions for the extra powers; I can look over some at some point, but I don't know the powers so well.

Selecting from *any* discipline may be a bit overpowered, but opening up Nomad to the grand aboleth would sate our previous desire to give the aboleth some love from that discipline.

Bykov.

WOOT!!! My 100th post. ;)

I don't see at as too overpowering, considering many dragons and powerful outsiders can also select their sorcerer spells known from the cleric list and mulitple domains.

Congrats on your 100th post!
