Special Conversion Thread: Will o' wisps

Yeah, that sounds better.

Updated.

Skills: 4 at 9 ranks
Wisp has Bluff, Listen, Search, Spot. Bluff makes little sense for these fellows, so probably replace that with Diplomacy. I could see adding Sense Motive in as well, maybe shaving a few ranks off the rest.

Feats: Weapon Finesse (B), 3 more
Wisp has Alertness, Blind-Fight, Dodge, Improved Initiative. Since these fellows tend to shun combat, I could see retaining Alertness and/or Dodge, and going with Quicken SLA on either or both of its SLAs.

Advancement: 7–18 HD (Small)?

Diplomacy 8, Listen 7, Search 7, Sense Motive 7, Spot 7?

If we want to use Quicken SLA (which is a nice idea), we need to bump the CL a bit. I'm not opposed to that, actually. I don't think it increases their power a whole lot, and, like I said, they're a little low on juice anyway.

Advancement sounds fine. Wait, weren't these going to be Tiny?

Hmmm...I suppose they should be Tiny!

Good point on Quicken...I think I was looking at the Empower chart. Boosting to CL 10th would allow them to quicken color spray, which is probably fine. That would allow them to use both SLAs in a single round.

Your skill ranks look good.

How about CL 10, Quicken SLA (color spray), and Ability Focus (hypnotic pattern)?

Let's keep advancement as you have it but just change Small to Tiny.
