Specific Magical Armor Prices and Costs

First Post
I am a bit confused about the prices (gp) and costs (gp & XP) to craft of some specific magic items, e.g. armors.

One example how it should work (IMHO):
Rhino Hide
Price to buy: 5,165gp
Cost to craft: 2,665gp+200XP
This makes sense, since the price for one masterwork hide armor is 165gp, hence
5,165 = 200*25+165
2,665 = 200*12.5.

In another example, the arithmetics work out fine, but I do not understand the price:
Plate Armor of the Deep
Price to buy: 24,650gp
Cost to craft: 17,150gp+600XP
600*12.5 = 7500, 17,150 - 7,500 = 9,650
600*25 = 15000, 24,650 - 15,000 = 9,650
Fine. The same number comes out, so the cost for the nonmagical parts is 9,650gp. The cost of a masterwork full plate is 1,650gp, which leaves exactly 8,000gp. Now: What are these 8,000gp for?

So far so good, but now:
Celestial Armor
Price to buy: 22,400gp
Cost to craft: 12,550gp+1,004XP
1,004*12,5 = 12,550
1,004*25 = 25,100
This, however does not make any sense.
Firstly, shouldn't the cost to craft include some price for nonmagical parts, i.e. at least 300gp for a masterwork chainmail?
Secondly, the price to buy is even less that 25 times the XP cost to craft. How can this be?

Finally:
Mithral Full Plate of Speed
What are the costs to craft this one? They are not listed.
And for calculating it, I need to understand the system.
But as the above examples show, this is not quite clear.

Please help.
