Spell Effects Minis

After weeks of shipping delays, I finally got my two boxes of Spell Effects minis by WizKids.
Has anyone else picked these up?

I’m loving the idea. I’ve been thinking about several of these minis for years, as knowing where a Bigby’s hand is. Or the dancing lights. And the various weapons double nicely as spiritual weapons that totally need a mini.



Do you think they should do more?
What other spells need minis?

I've been thinking about picking those up because I enjoy minis (using, painting, collecting, etc.) and these are rather unique. I think they would be helpful for new players, especially kids, to envision what these spell effects actually would look like on a proper scale. Please report back after you've had a chance to try them in gaming session - I would be very interested to hear if they are worth the purchase.

Yeah I've thought about these minis for sure.

Might think avout getting them next time i play a wizard.

Having had them on order and things being delayed due to mail strike. And in the intervening sessions, there were times I needed a magical wall and flying hand and magic glowing weapon....

I love these! And yes, they should make more.

The only reason I haven't picked up a set? I'm years ahead of them, having built many an effect using stuff from assorted minis companies (including Heroclix also from WK) or sources.
Still, I'm happy to see them selling sets like this.

I don’t have those, but I have several of the ones they made for their HeroClix games. Ice walls, fire walls, etc. look for ‘em.
