Spell focus + clerics

I have tried them out with a Priestess of Wee Jas, Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy with the Improved Unarmed Strike Feat and man, she kicks butt with her inflict wounds spells.

Ddefecate and urinate could work as Commands also.

Combine these with still and silent spell feats to liven up moments of intense diplomacy.

You guys are ignoring some of the best uses of the Command spell: words like "vomit", "urinate" and "defecate".

Not good in all situations, but "Swim" is a very nice command. Full plate guarding the bridge? Just might kill ya.

One of Piratecat's players has a wand that causes this effect. He posted some of the penalties a few months ago....

Unfortunately, the PHB doesn't have cleric spells divided by school. I have begun going through the offensive spells with saves (those that spell focus would effect). It seems Enchantment has a lot of spells in the first few levels...

I skipped straight from 1E to 3E, so I don't know how long a round was in 2E...

But we found that the change from one-minute rounds to six-second rounds severely inhibited our favourite non-combat use of Command - the Command "Cooperate" used to give us sixty seconds of rapid-fire interrogation.

You just can't ask many questions in six seconds...
