Spell Mastery Questions

Can you change spells selected for Spell Mastery? Say after you have gone up a few levels and there is a new spell you like to master instead of a spell you already have mastered. If no, could you hold mastery slots open for future spells? And do you get more mastery slots after your Int has gone up?

I'm afraid every answer is no. When you take the feat you have to define what spells are for it right then., No trading out of spells later. And it's your int at the time you take the feat that matters. So, increasing won't add any, but then decreasing any won't make you lose some.

Regrettably, it's no on all counts. No swapping mastered spells, no "banking" mastered spell slots, no changes for intelligence fluctuations.

As you're probably aware, you can take Spell Mastery again for a new group of spells. It even qualifies for the "bonus" feat a wizard gets every 5 levels.

1. no
2. no
3. no -
4. Hmmm... The game is a bit inconsistent here -

You don't get skill points retroactively, but you DO get bonus HP if your con score goes up. I am inclined to say yes here - even if you have to do it as a "house rule". I don't think I would find it terribly unbalancing.
