Spelljamming the USS Constitution

Night Terror

First Post
I'm kind of big on cramming things from one setting into other settings and decided to fuse the old Spelljammer set with the real "Old Ironsides". According to her website, she weighs in at 2200 tons. Going by TSR's rules, she would need 22 major Spelljammer Series helms at 75000 gp each (cost about 1,650,000 besides wages for the guys to run them). Has anybody else tried this? If so, what did you get for your numbers? I'd be interested in any ships from the age of the Fighting Sail, particularly those listed below:

USS Philadelphia
USS Enterprise
USS Wasp
USS Hornet
USS Intrepid
HMS Victory
HMS Endymion
USS President
USS United States
USS Chesapeake

It was a bit of a chore to work out the numbers for the weaponry, crew capacities, etc. That's why I'm wondering if anybody has any other stats. It doesn't matter if they're in d20 format or not. Thanks!

I'm doing all this from memory so forgive me if I am wrong. AIR, the United States, Constellation and Constitution were sisters so there's three ships stats for the price of one. I think the President and the Philadelphia were too but I would have to double-check it. Enterprise, Wasp and Hornet were smaller ships and if IRC there were a couple Intrepids. The HMS Victory is a Ship-of-the-Line so her stats would be greater but she wouldn't turn as easily as a frigate (e.g., USS Constitution). I would have to look up the HMS Endymion as I don't recognize her.

I never owned the SJ box set but I am interested in naval history. Post what you make. K?
