Recently, I've had a player cast Time Stop, an often contested spell, to do the following combination:
1. He drank a potion of speed
2. He drank a potion of invulnerability
3. He used a spell scroll of True Polymorph
As expected, this combination melted the encounter like butter and it was freaking awesome but it got me thinking:
What spells that have minimal use without magic items begin to become more powerful when magic items, in general, are applied?
