Spellweavers are really funly annoying!

Our DM is running two of us through a module and at this point there are only two players and we are both playing 2 characters each.

The final encounter last night was against a Spellweaver and it was a lot of fun. They are annoying, but fun to battle.

Our party is 6th level and is as follows:

Dwarven Runepriest of Moradin
Dragonborn Paladin of the Raven Queen
Deva Swordmage
Human AoE Wizard

Our front line is AC 2x25 and 1x24.

My wizard was livid since she spent most of the fight banished into maze land and losing her sustainable powers. =) She wants Spellweaver gloves or something out of spite.

Has anyone else had fun beating this thing down.

Not sure. I think this was scaled down to a lvl 8 solo elite or something like that.
I am pretty sure this was a published module of sorts in the White Lotus Academy in the Nentir Vale.

Spellweaver's Abilities

From what I remember:

Minor Actions Powers: I think most of its spells are minor actions so it gets 3/round.

Teleporting: One of its abilities is a teleporting spell. A little too mobile for us since we do not have a lot of ranged damage. The mage is most of our ranged damage and she spent literally most of her time banished which is a save ends effect. For about 75% of the time there was usually 2 people banished. Grrrrr! It is mobile and 2 of our front liners are wearing plate so we usually have to take what moments we can to damage it.

Push and Burst: There were 2 other abilities that the DM used to good affect one that pushed us back 5 and then one that immobilzed and created a fireburst (save ends) when the affected PC starts their turn. Too many times were we next to each other and taking damage from the immobilized and bursting PC.

By the end one person had gone unconscious but we brought them back up and 2 of us were bloodied, and we expended pretty much all of our dailies on it.

Temp HP: It has some sort of aura where it gains Temp HP equal to the highest level magic item on someone that is in melee with it. We each had a level 9 magic item on us. Since we are mostly a melee group and it is really mobile that gave it a tremendous amount of ablative HP's.

We were persistent but worried! =O =)
