Is there any official source for the hp of a spiked chain? I estimate it to be about the same as a light metal-hafted weapon (10 hp), but I can't find any specifics. The hardness should be 10 if the chain is steel.
Steel has 30 hp per inch of thickness, so 5 hp would represent 1/6th of an inch thickness. This seems like it's a bit thin, but it is at least official. I think I'll comproise and call the spiked chain links 1/4 inch thick, so the chain would have 7 hp.
