few things:

1> dm scott. know what. youre right. sorry. the problem wasnt not using spoiler tags. it was the fact that if you read the response when it shows up in your e-mail as i often do, you can see through the tags. and thats why i never said anything on the thread, but late last night I couldnt remember why i already knew what was happening. my mistake.

2> as for rupert being a bully. he hasnt acted bully-ish this season, just annoying, but he definately showed signs of it last year.

3> joe black, i dont think someone kowing someone whos died of cancer should make them any more or less sympathetic. by this point dont we all know someone whos died of cancer? my mom died of cancer too. if anything, dying of a slow disease sucks for the person with it, but it should be able to mentally prepare the people around them. I dont buy the "mom got worse at the last minute" thing. Anytime mom got worse up until her getting on the plane, Jenna couldve cancelled and CBS wouldve called Mr Fairplay and he wouldve been on the first flight out.

Richard showed some personallity in this episode. I still dislike him, but he knows the game.

Just the fact that he was smart enough to go into the game overweight shows that. Most "All Stars" had a month or two advanced notice and should have bluked up knowing how much weight they were going to lose.

Jon Fairplay will likely be on All-Stars 2, given how strong the ratings have been for this one.

All-Stars 2.. I doubt very much that this will happen.

There is only two more Survivor seasons contracted. I dont think that anyone on this all stars could or would be asked to be on a second all stars and two seasons does not make enough people for an all stars2 to happen. It may if they contract a few more seasons. But, I just dont see it happening. But thats my perception.

As far as Jonny fairplay goes, if he is ever back, it will suprise me a great deal. The interview with Probst was very negative, and at least half of the time was spent on how disliked Fairplay was. It was not the lie, it was how he acted torwards the camera men, Jeff, and the producers of the show. He also said that they recived numorus letters from fans that said they would not watch a show with him in it. Probst pretty much said that he would not be asked back. Granted he is not the producer of the show, but I still think that there is enough animosity between him and the shows creators that he would only be a thorn. I also dont think that he would bring in that much more ratings. I know too many people that would not watch the show if he was in it.
