Spring attack Feat and AOO question

Under Spring attack it says the character does not provoke an AOO. I thought this needs additional clarification. Does this apply against opponents with reach advantage? Example would be a monk with Spring Attack going against an Ogre or other creature with reach, does the monster get an AOO for his reach or does this feat allow the monk to get into melee range without provoking any attack.

I'm sure this quesiton has been asked before so if anyone has a link to an appropriate thread that would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

When you use Spring Attack, you don't provoke an AoO for movement. This applies only to the target you are attacking (using Spring Attack against).

No AoO from the target due to movement. It doesn't matter if the target has reach; if the AoO would have been provoked due to the character moving through the target's threat zone, Spring Attack negates it.
