i have yet to buy spycraft but it looks like fun. Do you guys think its possible to include the classes in a COC d20 game or are the two just very different? I have yet to play Delta Green but i assume it would turn out to be much the same.

Is delta Green going to comeout as a d20 book anytime soon? heck is it even available ? i have enver seen it...only rumours....eerie huh?

Ok, this is a good question.

I bought both books on the same day. I love both books. I love Delta Green - I have everything from Pagan.

However, in my attempt to combine the two great tastes of d20 Cthulhu and SpyCraft, I earned myself a headache and a loss of 1d8 sanity. I'm going to state it unequivicobly here:

It can't be done.

SpyCraft is James Bond. The frentic, high action and narrow escapes are what makes it fun. Part of the ruleset for SpyCraft involves action dice, chases, gadgets, 'foils', Facemen... These are things that are staples of the genre, but will not work for Cthulhu. It's too upbeat. Too filled with the possibility of success against your foes.

Do I like Action Dice? God yes! I will probably use them in my next 3E game..! But they will not work in Cthulhu, it gives an investigator the one thing a good DM will keep taking away...

... hope.

I challenge other readers - come up with a way to combine the two - I sure would like to see it!

(and oh, speaking of Delta Green, John Tynes recently said that in the next reprinting of DG, they will have a conversion for d20!)

EVERYTHING in Spycraft will not work in CoCd20 but you should only take the parts that you like and port them over...if you take a few limbs from Spycraft and graft them onto CoCd20...then you got a really good monster!!

And yes, a monster rather similar to Delta Green, I think...
