Spoilers Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

I think he meant because of computers. In the future they do everything for you. You just scream “tea..hot….” and get what you want.
The number of times that the computer requests clarification is vanishingly small. It reminds me of this comment by Nikolas Lloyd, at 6:26.

What is so bad about “Move Along Home”? I watched it last night and it didn’t seem any worse than any of the preceding episodes. A bit cheesy / cringey in parts but not that’s been par for the course so far, and I wouldn’t classify it as bad.

As a pre-teen in Denmark I had watched a decent amount of TOS and TNG. In the newspsper, on the program overview of channel we didn’t have, it often said “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and I always wondered and fantasized about what it was.

When I got older and the Internet became more of a thing, I found the theme music and imagery from both DS9 and Voyager and was mesmerized. As a young adult I was often able to watch Voyager when I visited my mom’s and stayed over.

I think I was around 30 before I finally got to see DS9. I didn’t really like Sisko until he got the beard. I liked the show a lot, but I do like TNG the most.

I think the beard came about the same time that the writers were released from Next Gen and moved to DS9, so that would track.

It's a very fun episode, like it's very stupid but most of the cast understood the assignment

It's a common opinion of the fan base, and it's not like I don't understand why. It's goofy and ultimately pointless. I just happened to find it entirely delightful.
Honestly, I’m finding “The Nagus” to be more painful to watch than “Move Along Home”.

I love Wallace Shawn in The Princess Bride, but his whiny voice and high-pitched tittering in this episode are truly grating!
