Star Trek: Enterprise (2/25/05)

So, what did everyone think about last night's wrapup of the "Klingon forehead" storyline? I really liked the "tethering the two ships together" bit at the beginning, where they brought Trip over from the Columbia to the Enterprise at Warp 5. In fact, that was the best part of the episode for me, although it was also nice to see the Enterprise put all power into the dorsal hull plating and just take blast after blast from the Klingon ships (in most space battles, it seems like a couple of hits and the ship's seriously damaged).

It also looks like the "Section 31" storyline is done and gone for good now (unless those rumors of the Sci-Fi Channel picking up the rights to the show are true).

Sadly, I didn't see any previews for next week, so I anticipate several weeks of reruns next.

Yes, the ship thethering was by far the best part of the episode. It's nice that after 500+ episodes of Trek that they can still find something new to do.

I found the whole Klingon forehead story rather unnecessary to explain, but I guess needed to be established at some point due to the Tribbles DS9 episode. I never cared for the whole Section 31 storyline and found Reid's initial betrayal to be out of character.

It was not quite as enjoyable as last week, but the episode had its high points. Unfortunately, Archer throwing himself alone into the lion's den (again) was not one of them. The tethering thing was fun if a bit straining on the logistics side perhaps. And is it just me or was the Klingon healer working with Phlox the same actor who played the Klingon ambassador in Star Trek IV & VI?

MARCH 25th, actually. The episode is called "Bound", and it's about
Archer receiving three Orion slave girls, the Orions seducing all the males on Enterprise except Trip, and Trip & T'Pol discovering that they've unwittingly become telepathically bonded just like a Vulcan married couple.
The episode after that, the first part of the Mirror Universe two-parter, is the one that airs April 15th.

It was the same actor, yes.

Nope. According to startrek.com, the character will appear later this season in one of the last episodes. The episode deals with
initial talks that will eventually lead to the founding of the Federation, tie up the anti-alien sentiment on Earth storyline that's been a bit in the background this season, and give us some insight into the infamous Colonel Green.
