I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about here, but ST:NV is a fan-filmed hypothetical 4th and 5th year of the original 'five-year mission' with new actors playing the classic parts.

Anyhow, I found and downloaded the 2nd episode from their website, but haven't been able to find the first one. Anyone have a clue on that for me?

A friend was telling me about these yesterday so I'm looking forward to watching them.

The one I saw was enjoyable, though a little... weird, what with a different Kirk and Spock and all.

Jez you can still get Episode 1. Go to the www.newvoyages.com and click Episodes, then go to Mirror 2.

They have Episode 1 in Windows Media format (.wmv) which will play on Windows Media Player.

I really like these a lot.

They have 2 former writers from DS9 doing Episode 3, and Dorothy "DC" Fontana (a writer for TOS) is writing Episode 4, which will heavily feature Chekov, who will be played by original actor Walter "Bester" Koenig.

I like these shows. Any news on when Episode 3 will be available? I've got the first two episodes on the hard drive and plan on collecting them as they get made.

Well, their consulting producer is Eugene Roddenberry Jr. that probably helps

But even beyond that, this is by no means the only fan film out there, and Paramount seems to turn a blind eye as long as they don't actually borrow clips from the shows to put on the air.
