It's an American show. I'm sure all the Russian sci-fi shows give a very even-handed overview of the history of space exploration.

You're just proving my point! Star Trek was explicitly internationalist for decades, and then ENT comes along and suddenly only the US did anything with space exploration? It's just dumb and embarrassing, especially in the context of that terrible song, and shouldn't be defended!

Also the Russians haven't done anything meaningful in space, just ferried people for cash. The Soviet Union did though. And post-Soviet Russia should never be anyone's standard for behaviour lol. That's like like using Charles Manson as a role model.
