Star Wars - Better Days

(OOC - Would 'searching her feelings' provide Summer with info about the consequences of her going with the group or staying on the ship? The skill desc says 'immediate' which makes me think it probably wouldn't. Given that, would a Vision? And if she did a vision, could she use her Recover Force talent to get the FP back? ;))

Liam retired to his quarters soon after the little spat with the captain, taking a bulb of juice along with him, just in time it seemed as the ship began rattling its way down into the atmosphere, another alarm sounding to warn the crew of their impending arrival.

Ace would be required to give up on his banter briefly, guiding the ship down to a comfortable landing after a rather interesting discussion with Nar Shadaa air traffic control, leaving them settled on an 'unoccupied' landing dock, though from the cockpit one could tell that the crew got what their credits could pay for, their ship mashed into the dock with a rusty bucket that may or may not be spaceworthy.

((OOC to all: I'll be begining the main plot tomorrow barring any problems at work. The captain and escorts have to leave ASAP to make the meeting. For anyone else, if you want motivation, exploration and credits ^^; ))

[sblock=Shayuri]I'll give you the vision for now. If you're looking for just general good or bad I'll let you recover the force point, beyond that I'll probably run it case by case. I figure your concept is the whole 'read the future' crazy, so I'll try and work with that as much as possible.

As far as the vision you get. Staying on the ship would be bad, very bad. They definately need your help, and are going to get it whether they want to or not =)[/sblock]

(Understood, Caros. Thanks!)

Summer is quiet and keeps to herself through the descent...in other words, she acts perfectly normally, for her. She doesn't talk about whether or not she's staying or going, because she already knows what she's going to do, and if she doesn't talk about it then no one can try to argue with her about it.

When she feels the ship touch down, she gathers up her pouch with credits and datapad...making sure it's affixed more securely than usual to her belt...and her slim blaster pistol, fixes her commlink to her ear and flexes her fingers in the padded, weighted combat gloves she wears. As ready as she'll ever be, Summer goes to meet the others at the exit ramp.

Standing by the ramp, Larsshk rolls his shoulder, settling into the armor he habitually wears planetside. He looks up for a moment and sees Summer ambling down the corridor in their direction.

With her combat gloves on.

"Uh... Cap'?" he mutters under his breath, pointing in her direction. "Incoming."

"Allright, lets get our gear and head to the meeting, Hutts don't like to be kept waiting.. But bring a datapad or sumthin, cuz you can be sure he's gonna keep US waiting." Jim stops at Larsshk's words, and holds out a hand to block Summer "Where do you think yer going? This aint no place for a lady." He raises an eyebrow upon seeing her blaster. "And where'd you get THAT?"
[sblock=ooc] Sorry, was out of it for a few days.

"From my cabin," she answers, a little bemused by the question. Where else would she have gotten it from?

"I'm going with you. It doesn't matter who this place is for. We're here now."

She tries to think of how to explain...to put into words how choices and actions added up to form causes, which were like roads into the future...parting the mists of uncertainty and making a clear spot where what lay ahead could be seen with startling clarity. Consequences. You could do what you wanted, but there were always consequences.

But there weren't words in Summer to describe the things that bubbled and churned in her head, like a cauldron spilled and now running rampant through places it was never meant to be. All she could do was ball her fists in frustration and say, "I have to go with you."

"NO, you have to stay here so we don't have to protect you from every mugger on the planet." He sighed. "Allright, WHY do you have to come? It's not that pretty out there."

"Because if I don't go, you won't come back," Summer patiently explains. "We have to stay together." She pauses, then something else the captain said sinks in. "Don't worry...you won't have to protect me."

Summer glances at Ace, a little frustrated. She opens her mouth, then closes it, and finally covers her mouth with her hands, shaking her head. Finally she says more quietly, "I can't say it right. Nothing is words inside...it's all smeared like oil on glass, except right now when I can see, and I can't SAY IT."

She looks pleadingly at the captain. "It's better if you let me. It really is."
