Star Wars Micro Machines

Does anyone know whether they still make the Star Wars Micro Machines plastic miniatures. They used to sell them for about $5 for a pack of about 8. I bought some Imperial Officers, naval crew and Rebel Hoth troopers that were pretty good about 4 years ago. I'd like to get some more.

Haven't seen them for a while, but a local closeout discount store has the 3-packs with the face-dioramas for $1.50 each. I've been clearing them out slowly, since they make excellent mini's for several types of games. But I would love to see the 8-packs again, too. Sadly, I beleive this license ran out in about 1998, and they haven't made any more since...

They have them for the Prequels, but they haven't made them for the original movies for several years now. I've got several packs... The Main Characters, Bounty Hunters, Droids, Hoth Rebels, Rebel Pilots, Endor Rebels, Rebel Navy Troopers, Storm Troopers, Scout Troopers, Imperial Officers, TIE Pilots, Imperial Navy Troopers and a few others I can't remember. They're great as figures for the RPG.

I'd found a discount bin full of them ($1 a piece) at a Toys R Us about two years back. I haven't seen any since then.

Try Ebay. Sometimes you'll find them there.

I did find a bunch on E-bay.

I ended up with about 100, a mixture of rebels and imperial troops--but I lost out on the lot I really wanted, the one that had about 50 storm troopers in it.

I guess if I play star wars, they'll be seeing a lot of those imperial guys in black and those imperial guys in green, but few storm troopers. Oh well.
