Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

I think the only limitation is action economy and whether the power in question requires force points. You're limited to expending one of those per round, barring certain feats.

You can use surge... but in D&D 5th can you cast two spells in a round? So a Fighter/Wizard do that?

You are totally within 12 meter of Uthall right now if you want to move up to him and use action surge to attack, etc.

EDIT ah does Kacela have the Action Surge feat? If not you can't action surge, but you can still move...

In 5E, you can cast two spells in a round under a few circumstances.

One: if you cast a spell with a casting time of one Bonus Action, you can cast a cantrip with a casting time of one action, but not a higher level spell.
Two: If you have Action Surge due to having that ability from the Fighter classes, you could use it to cast two spells, I believe.

Not sure how that interacts given: there are no Jedi cantrips (unless one were to consider the abilities granted by proficiency in Use the Force) and the Jedi power Surge doesn't require any kind of action.

Right, so you could move up to Urthal. He'd have disadvantage on his attack or he'd have to move away, either by disengaging or accepting an Opportunity Attack. With that said, there's a good chance he has Action Surge and might use it to disengage and then shoot you in the face a few times.

I'd probably stay in cover.

Blargh. I can't do much from cover.

But then again, I tried and failed to disarm him, so I can't do much anyway.

So yeah, I guess that's my turn.

He is posted in the Rogue's Gallery and sadly he does not have Action Surge :)

I'm not clear: is Kacela moving to engage or not?

Note that at this point, Uthall will NOT be reeling from the explosion next round (he has a feat that allows him to recover as a reaction), he has double attack, an autofire-capable weapon and we're all bunched up right now. So if he's not engaged with somebody right quick, we're in trouble... (At the very least, Kacela should move to cover from him, drop prone, etc.)

Hm, would Reks be within double-move distance of him, GK? He might relish a little hand to hand after all this 'ranged combat' crap. :D
