NOTE one thing I want to address - while in 5th ed. you can choice to not kill someone when dealing damage I am not sure I am very comfortable with that when using Lightsabers or Blasters (not set on stun). An axe you could use the flat of the blade but you can't really do that with a lightsaber. I might say you could strike a limb and not kill them etc. or you attack their weapon (at maybe -2 to -4 to your attack roll). Thoughts??

In 5E, you can only do it with a melee weapon, so blasters are pretty much right out without a Stun setting in any event. I would say that lightsabers are also incapable of stunning, given their nature. A lot of the distinction is that you have stun working in a different way from 5E. I'm okay with stunning only being allowed with certain weapons, including fists, which everyone has available to them. I think most of us are carrying some kind of blaster with a stun setting on top of that, right?

Yes Force Slam and Move Object both can be used to do nonlethal (unless you push someone off a cliff etc.) If you don't do damage with Move Object you can maintain it round to round...
