That's what I was waiting for as well. Not to mention if they take the puddle jumper, how is the Ancient (I don't think he would be an Atlantean, that was just one of thier cities) going to get back to the past?

From my understanding, the Ancient already GOT back to the past and left that puddle jumper for them. i.e. If the Ancient is around, he's got a second(different time period) puddle jumper with him somewhere else.

I liked it for no other reason than they actually got to leave the SGC. I like SGC episodes but it seemed that almost summer episodes were in the SGC. I want off-world travel dag-nabbit!

I still would have liked to at least see the Ancient spying them from a distance...but that would go against the rule that we're not allowed to see Ancients(except that one time in an Atlantis recording)

I hope the time-jumping Puddle Jumper is in another episode and that Carter pilots it to go back in time. If I've learned anything from the Terminator movies, anyone who goes back in time will always show up naked... and who doesn't want to see that?!

I don't remember, did they ever conclude she was an ancient? I know they said she was a really, really, really old human but did they ever specifically say she was an ancient?

I SWEAR that I read somewhere that the time-travelling puddle-jumper is gonna show back up...on Atlantis late in the season.

A thought about the power of the Puddle-jumpers: we've never actually seen one go against Goa'uld ships...just Wraith. Could be that they are VERY potent...and that the Wraith also are.

I am pretty sure Ayiana was an Ancient as she was were they learned about the healing power of the Ancients.
